This 1973 Ford Bronco underwent an extensive frame-off restoration, completed entirely in-house by the skilled craftsmen at Anaheim Rod & Custom. From its meticulously refinished exterior to its hand-built V8 engine, we thoughtfully restored and upgraded every aspect of this iconic Bronco, preserving its timeless character while adding modern refinements.
Engine & Performance:
At the heart of this restoration is a 302 Windsor V8 small-block engine, carefully hand-built by our team. A new exhaust system with Borla Turbo mufflers delivers a distinctive V8 sound that complements the Bronco's classic personality.
The chassis received a new suspension system and a comprehensive braking upgrade with Wilwood components, delivering improved handling and stopping performance.
Exterior & Bodywork:
The Bronco's exterior received a complete refinish in premium House of Kolor paint, followed by extensive color-sanding and buffing for a deep, beautiful finish.
A new hardtop, all-new glass, and complete replacement weatherstripping bring renewed refinement to the vehicle. Custom door and dashboard knobs provide subtle, personalized details, while power-operated side steps offer convenient entry and exit without compromising the Bronco's classic appearance.
Interior & Comfort:
Inside, the Bronco features a completely new interior with custom upholstery that blends vintage character with modern comfort.
Air conditioning was added for year-round driving enjoyment, and a new sound system delivers an upgraded audio experience. Additional insulation in the doors helps reduce unwanted noise for a more comfortable cabin.
A new roll bar completes the interior upgrades, adding to the Bronco's distinctive open-air utility heritage.
Electrical & Final Details:
To support the extensive modernization, our team installed a completely new electrical wiring system and harness, providing a fresh foundation for the vehicle's upgraded components and accessories.
