Our team at Anaheim Rod & Custom took on this beautiful 1958 Lincoln Continental with a comprehensive approach, addressing the vehicle from the outside in and bringing its mechanical systems, interior, and iconic character back to a higher standard.
The work included a complete strip, full sanding of the bodywork and paint, removal, disassembly, chroming & polishing of all exterior trim, and reinstallation, along with extensive brake and engine work to ensure the Lincoln performs as beautifully as it looks. The team serviced the cooling system, repaired the original air conditioning system, and repaired and upgraded the suspension for improved drivability and reliability. Overall, the team reviewed all lubrication points, service points, and other aspects of the car to move it toward daily operation.
Inside the cabin, the team refurbished the dashboard elements, including the lights and gauges, and serviced all the windows and their operating systems. The team carefully conditioned and recolored the original leather seats, preserving the interior's character while giving it a refreshed look.
For modern performance and drivability, we installed a new Sniper EFI system, bringing contemporary fuel-injection technology to this classic Lincoln.
The finishing touches included powder-coating and refurbishing the wheels and installing new correct 950 14 bias-ply tires, completing the transformation and giving this Continental the presence it deserves.
